About Me
I am Saeed Hashemkhani, an IT director, digital-business consultant and specialist in software system analysis and design. I help businesses turn ideas and needs into workable solutions: from digital business design and ERP/CRM analysis to software analysis and design, e-commerce and project management.
My professional path
I have worked in technology and software for more than 25 years. My path began with the analysis, design and programming of enterprise systems, and moved on to project management, IT management, CRM, e-commerce, and launching and running digital businesses.
Projects and roles
I have taken part in projects ranging from specialised water and wastewater systems and distribution and sales networks to online stores, CRM, customer clubs, artificial intelligence and digital platforms: sometimes as designer and programmer, sometimes as project manager and, in recent years, as business designer, owner and chief executive.
My approach
My focus has never been technology alone. What drives me is the point where technology, process, business and user experience meet: where a real problem becomes a workable solution and an idea becomes a real product or business.

Beyond technology
Technology is only one part of my path. Cinema, writing and film criticism have been an important part of my life for years. Experience in journalism and film criticism (including work as a reporter and film critic for the Tehran newspaper “Cinema Video”), interviews with filmmakers and photography has shaped how I see narrative, detail and analysis.
For me, whether I am designing a software system or analysing a film, there is one shared question:
Why is it built this way, and how can it be understood better?
